NEWS:
May 13 2010 4 dan promotion Sensei Robert Corella was promoted to the rank of 4th dan in Araki Ryu Iaido. Hayabuchi Soke, 16th Headmaster gave the rank of 4th dan to Sensei. This rank was way overdue.
Sensei Corella was welcomed back to the main lineage of Araki Ryu Iaido by Hayabuchi Soke. Sensei Corella was very happy to be doing traditional and true bloodline Araki Ryu Iaido.
Congratulations Sensei Corella!
May 13 2010 16th Soke visits Kenshin Dojo Great news! We have now joined the main headquarters in Kobe, Japan for Araki Ryu Iaido. The Headmaster (Hayabuchi Soke) is in a direct line to the true Arki Ryu Iaido lineage. Hayabuchi Soke's grandfather was the 15th master of this sword art. This is not a side branch but in a direct line of sucession. He made a special visit this week along with Sensei Colin from London and Sensei Mirek from Canada. Soke speaks great English so we were able to learn much. Plus he is a very friendly man and funny too. Our dojo joining the Kobe Headquaarters was a great way to celebrate our 25th dojo anniversary. Photos of our banquet and classes with soke will be up this week.
May 5 2010 More test results Congratulations to those students that passed their test. We now have another black belt, Glen Reiner. Good job everyone!
