Soke brings Ginkenshibu to Chicago

Our Soke was recently with the Ginkenshibu team which performed at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. We’re proud to report that the performance, which happened the last weekend in July, was sold out and well received.

“Gin-ei” refers to the traditional art of reciting classical Chinese and Japanese poetry and “Ken-shibu” is the refers to two types of dance (Kenbu and Shibu) which accompanies Gin-ei.
