How
did you find Kenshin Dojo?
Brian: Matsuri.
How
long have you been doing Iaido and what rank do you hold?
Brian: About a year and five months. I recently
made Gokyu.
I need more self-practice.
Do
you have a rank in another martial art?
Brian: Nope.
What
made you decide to do Iaido?
Brian:My conversation with sensei after
Matsuri made me want to pursue Iaido. I asked far too many questions,
and Sensei answered them all.
What
is the most memorable experience that you've had at the dojo?
Brian: Too early to say.
What
have you gained by doing Iaido?
Brian: I'm more relaxed and more determined. I'm
not as
passive. But I have alot more to learn.
Have
you ever been to Japan?
Brian: No, but I want to go.
Are
you involved in any Japanese culture? Language?
Brian: I love anime, manga, and J-pop. I'm curious
what life
is like in Japan today for the average 20 something.
What
is your favorite Japanese dish?
Brian: I am still trying out new ones, so I'm not
sure yet.
